This. oSu can get to 8+ wins next year and some (a lot) may be Morris’ offensive matchups and play calling but IMHO other things need to occur: players must get into the playbook and get it down so that practices reps are more meaningful, many players must maximum time in weight room and training table (several are too lean for the pops they will receive week in and week out), and there cannot be too many injuries at key positions. These and others (chemistry, desire, etc.) could be the difference between 5/6 wins and 7/8 wins…
What helps oSu - KSU may be slow to hit a rhythm but don’t bet on that; ISU is a mess and didn’t NT beat WSU last year…
Actually, looking at the schedule next year and realizing Glass will not be directing the football training causes some concern. Even while Gundy was faltering, RG was the constant positive on the program for two decades. Perhaps RG should get any statue.
