A broader look at the Cowboys’ trip to Puerto Rico.
This team has the potential to be very good but the competition was not great. I also would have liked to see Clary average more assists as much hype coach has given him, but he only played in 2 games. Time will tell. I do like our size, something we have been lacking for years.
This Parker kid looks like a good shooter. We are going to need 3 point shooters to be in the thick of it. And maybe the Crotty kid will step up as well.

Are we gonna play defense?
I’ve seen so much hype from Marshall and the PFB group (great hype btw, keep up the good work) about the level of talent, the scoring, all of that. But not once that I’ve seen has anyone mentioned whether or not this new group was interested in playing any defense in Puerto Rico. Sure seems like that was what held last year’s team back, defensive effort… The scoreboards against Puerto Rico felt more like a sequel than a solution. They averaged near 90pts against us….
