OSU drops its second game of the season.
I want to see us do something different on the pick-and-roll. If we don’t figure out how to defend it, the rest of the year is going to be really tough.
There are all sorts of good Google links on how Sutton defended this – and not one of them included both guard and post sinking back to the goal in retreat…like we did all day.
We were forced to fight through the screens high side. No questions no excuses
Thank you announcers for saying what I’m thinking. Why are these guards jacking up 3s when there are legitimate scores on the floor? It felt like they were the irritating pick up player who keeps jacking the ball while saying I can hit that shot…. Am I wrong??
Right , I’ve never seen so many bad shots in a OSU game in a long time Defense is an option too
I’ve been thinking this all season. I’m so tired of the drive and dish out to an open man on the wing. At some point, this isn’t about how well the players defend, it’s about the coaches and their schemes. we defend these plays like we did under several of the last coaches. I don’t get it. I would really like to ask Coach Lutz why we allow these open wing shots. I think Coach Lutz is a great coach and that he’s the right man for the position. But this one area drives me crazy. we have to be one of the worst three-point defending teams in the country and it is going to make us get burned by teams like Tech.
