When facing a zone defense you gotta do more things than hover around the three point line and throw up threes (especially when you aren’t any good at them.
You gotta have a majority of the players attacking the rim at the same time. That’s how you exploit the lanes and openings in a zone defense. You can even do it with pick’n rolls at the top as long as two guys are cutting in at the same time for back door cuts.
It’s imperative that the wing man and post man both cut at the same time in either side so it gives you a couple of options for easy buckets. The 12 foot jumper or the back door cut for the easy bucket is always a better option than throwing up a three and praying.
There are high low and other offensive.
