Again, the refs and their whistles were the star of this show. There is no way a basketball team can get any rhythm and consistency when the refs are blowing their whistles every trip down court, whether on offense or defense. Free throws: Cowboys 9 of14 and Jayhawks 19 of 27. Until the Big 12 cleans up the incompetency in their referees, the league is virtually unwatchable.
