It was a rough evening in Salt Lake City for the Pokes.
Embarrassing. It’s Lutz’s first year and we had to scrap a team together, so we’ll see how we’re doing in a year or two, but man.

Our half court set is bad , them shooting 60% or whatever it was is not good We need a really good point guard

Pathetic. Other than Avery and Newman, I’m not sure if you could assemble a team of worse shooters. Brantley and Davis have no shooting touch - but Brantley plays as many minutes as almost anyone on our roster?
The offensive system Lutz is running does not fit this team. He should study what Utah ran - they were getting wide open looks both inside and outside, while we get none.
Can’t believe w hired Lutz when jef was right under our nose the whole time!

Gotta give Lutz some kind of room. It’s only year one. Not like he’s been there for twenty years.

Tennis starts this week; golf starts Feb. 6; baseball opens on Feb. 14.
Did you even watch the game? Utah ran offensive sets that resulted in layups, while our crappy offensive system resulted in 33% FG%.
It’s a wakeup call for Lutz. He now realizes the level of talent he has to purchase in order to win in the Big 12. His cupboard is bare this season. Give him a chance to find a new roster.
Need money to get a winning roster. Do donors care enough to pay for it? We will see I suppose.
Paying for basketball is kind of pointless. There’s not much money there.
I’m sorry but this university is broke as a joke. Better have really good coaching and get lucky in the recruiting department by dumb luck or its history. I’m still thinking Gundy can turn it around next year lol bahahaha. O boy. It was fun while it lasted when o’l Boon Pickens was still alive. Good luck here on out osu.
