Five Thoughts on Oklahoma State's 95-92 Overtime Loss to TCU

On a wild end to regulation, OSU’s tournament hopes and more.

Another heart wrenching loss. Not going to analyze it. Not yet. And I’ll have a few words about the officiating. For now, I’ll just say this.

I feel for the players, all of them, but especially Parsa. Watching him take the gut punch of the last shot not going in was really hard.

And I feel for Lutz and the coaches. They are coaching their hearts out. Lutz, to me, is a class act, and I’m glad we have him.

I watched Texas Tech-Arizona later on Saturday. Seeing those two teams go at it so quickly after watching OSU, one realizes the chasm is wide. Very wide.

Too bad we don’t have another 4-5 players with Parsa’s attitude. That seems to be what’s missing imo…

I was going to do an analysis of this game, but I don’t have the stomach. Suffice to leave it to the Pistols Firing podcast, specifically at the 10:30 mark, when Colby does a great job giving a rant about the game and the officiating. Specifically, the bogus call on Clary and Lutz’s inability to call a timeout.
