In NT’s championship game Hawkins took a pop and left the game - he needs to put on some muscle or the backups could see a lot of playing time.

“ Morris has proven fairly regularly that he isn’t afraid to play young guys.“

I thought they needed 15 games?

There probably wasn’t a position during the latter years of the Gundy era that more OSU fans were frustrated with than the Cowboy tight ends (or Cowboy backs, if you prefer). — Yes, because it seemed there wasn’t many targets since John Chesney and Barry Hanna played TE for oSu. :sob::sob::sob:

You’re going a little far back aren’t you ? Pettigrew and can’t remember the te that went to Dallas and make a few starts but Pettigrew was the last to shine and played several years in the league

Yeah, it was negligence not to use Tightends more, and don’t get me started on the hubristic emergence of Cowboy Back.

As mentioned Pettigrew was the last one we used to any effect (and he changed some games - still recall that close game with tt and the catch and run up the seam to the end - and a dive ???)
