Missed out on another Okiehomey: Cade Stevenson, from Kingfisher, was player of the game with two interceptions, which set up scores to keep ESU undefeated.

Glad to see him doing well. Unfortunately, he is not a division I level QB.
Still think he’s better than Rangle. Had to be a lot of pressure on him playing for his dad and the dad not showing favoritism

I don’t think school ever started is the reason he could put out Someone correct me if that is wrong ?
They don’t need to do stories on anybody who transfers out. The only reason it keeps happening is because it’s Gunnar. You don’t see stories about DJ McKinney. You never saw stories about Jarrick Bernard-Converse. You don’t see stories on Mason Cobb. Also, it’s Emporia State. He didn’t transfer to a USC, LSU, or CU. Two of those three are really good FBS programs. Emporia State is D-2 and not even remotely connected to where OSU finishes the season.
It’s lonely at the top. 
I get it, most people want to see Gunnar do well. He’s a good dude. He left on good terms. I hope he continues killing it. I just don’t need to know about it. Cue “Man Yells at Cloud” meme.
He was the best qb we had. Mike knew it but was too scared to pull the trigger with Gunnar being his son. That’s why we played that three quarterback system for a while.

I have no doubt someone will do a piece on players who transferred out and what their college careers looked like. I’d actually be interested to read a recap–or if they want to get spicy, give a hindsight judgment on whether or not it was a good decision to leave.
I just looked up Mason Cobb a couple of days ago since people have been talking about USC’s defense being better this year. I was wondering how he was contributing. Based on stats so far, looks like not that much. I wouldn’t mind having someone do the research for me as this was just a cursory check. Did they not do something on Jabbar Muhammad in the playoffs? Maybe I read it on a different Oklahoma sports site. The Oklahoman or something.

I get what you are saying about this being non OSU content but it is easy for you to just not read it. There are folks here who are interested in Gunnar so perhaps you should consider them.

Yep and it’s not like you have to wade through tons of these types of articles just to get to OSU content. BTW I guess I’m one of the few who like to know what Gunnar is up to now and then.
