So if I set the over/under number of TD passes for Mestemaker to throw for in 12 games at 25, what do people think he will do? Over 25? Under?

Over - Brandon had 34 in 2010, 37 in 2011 (but 2x Biltnikoff catching balls).

I’m going with the over. For one, it’ll be all new players and a new offense for our opposing teams to try and figure out. Two, limiting him to 2 TD passes per game could be easily passed. He may throw 4 or 5 in a game. Of course, the flip side is, he may come up with a goose egg.

As long as he stays healthy and the line blocks, like VocPoke said, I think 30 is a good number to hit.

I hope he does go over. Consider this. Mestemaker threw 29 TDS (not counting post season) last year in an offense that scored 45 points a game. As well, UNT scored 49 rushing TDS that led the nation.
The defenses he faced will be better, and although I am excited for this offense, I don’t think we are going to score 45 per game. I’m not sure where are O Line is…. At the same time Mestemaker should improve in the off season. 4 QBs threw for over 25 tds last year in the B12. I’ll say he goes over as well, but doesn’t hit 30 in regular season games.
