Finished Armada yesterday. It was good. Not near as good as Ready Player One. But a good easy audiobook listen.
Just saw this, but that would have been a great way to handle it. There was definitely enough content to break it up into three movies, and with the constant search for “franchise” type movies I don’t know why they wouldn’t have wanted to do this.
Hey team,
Headed on my honeymoon August 24-30. Any book recommendations to read while I’m sitting on a beach in Mexico (because that’s the only country we can travel to)?
What kind of books do you like?
I understand the Fifty Shades of Grey books are good.
I’m not too picky honestly. I’ve gone through the action book phase (Lee Child, David Baldacci) but also have enjoyed court-based books like John Grisham and James Patterson. The only thing I don’t do are Steamy Romance novels or @JustGary guilty pleasure books.
Maybe the significant other might be interested?
Lonesome Dove, or really any Larry McMurtry. I’m going to beat this drum forever for everyone.
If you like books in a series, the Kenzie and Gennaro books by Dennis Lehane.
Recursion by Blake Crouch is great, and several on here have enjoyed it.
Barbarian Days by William Finnegan is a great memoir and seems like it would be even better read on a beach.
She put something on her Instagram story yesterday about asking for book recommendations and I responded with “The Bible”
Awesome. Went ahead and added Lonesome Dove and Recursion to my Kindle.
