I watched the stream feed of Mr Pickens’ memorial at OSU this afternoon and was impressed with Coach Gundy’s remarks and his natural delivery. Also thought he was the best speaker and stayed on task. Never heard him deliver an address. Fun to hear the inside stories and his dealings with Boone. Good job, coach. Forever grateful, TBP

I was actually thinking about how we often presume that because Person X is successful in one industry, they’ll automatically be good in a different one. It’s actually impressive when they are, more than we give it credit for. Sure, there’s some crossover from coaching football to public speaking since you have to speak to 100+ people every day, but they’re not that intertwined. I thought Gundy did a great job.
