He should feel more comfortable there on the field since the games will be more like high school with small crowds.
Have to feel sorry for him sliding down so far from the limelight of Stillwater High.
I hope he throws for 5,000 yds.
Only other time I heard of Emporia State was in 1966 when a classmate in our Chicago area school announced ESU as her college destination. No one knew what state that was in. I guess Gunnar had to find a school that has an agriculture major.
Emporia State plays at UCO on November 16th. Cowboys have a bye that week. I imagine quite a few OSU fans/coaches/players will show up for that one.

I never understood why he came to OSU anyway. He was never going to be a starter. I think he would’ve had a better shot had he enrolled at a place like Lamar or something of that sort.

My friend’s son was a stud QB at Emporia State for three seasons.
It’s between him and QB2 from last season. Their starter the past couple of seasons is a kid from Muldrow and who is now the QB coach. QB2 might be slightly ahead due to knowing the offense, but I can’t see Gunnar not getting significant PT this upcoming season. He really improved with his quickness while in Stilly!

Even if only for a season, maybe just for a chance to mature as a person and football player, and look back one day with the memory of playing for his dad.
Well we were a bit thin at qb at the time . We had that one transfer from San Fran right ?
Has Illingworth got any play since his transfer ?
I guess. I know he was offered by Eastern Michigan, and I wonder if he should’ve went there initially?

It was like 50 50. I dnt think much last year. The kid really chose poorly
