I was at the game. Perhaps I didn’t watch closely enough. Yes, the offense gained yardage, and the defense played well, but from the first quarter on, the outcome was predictable. Gundy is content on winning 75% of the time, losing close, going to average bowl games, and adding another year to his contract. Gundy is our first coach to have the facilities to compete, and he has done better than others (again he has had the facilities), but his motivation is not there, and it shows.
Shane has a 2% higher Comp percentage than sanders, on 21 less passes. Also in a more simplistic scheme. Not sure what you’re getting at with the completion thing. Now ball security, that’s a different conversation.
