Not expecting a whole lot but maybe they’ll surprise. It does seem like Boynton has gotten his teams to play better against better competition in the past so hopefully the trend continues.
If we don’t get beat to death in the rebounding and free throw categories we might have a chance, but if we lose both of those significantly we are going to get blown out of the gym.
It’s OK to have 20 turnovers and not to play defense.
Just asking they seem pretty major areas too

I didn’t ever say it was okay. Just giving out the two biggest factors. Two of our three games have pretty much been lost on free throws and rebounding. When the best you can do is 50% from the free throw line, and give up offensive rebounds, then you’ll probably stand a good chance of losing a lead and losing close games.
Sure but turnovers stop us from ending the last game before overtime.
All these are obviously needed to improve.
On rebounds it more on the other teams getting second chance rebounds. U dnt have to win the rebounds but u can’t give up 12 off boards in a half

I don’t need it. I understand the game of basketball. Just pointed out what the two biggest factors ended up being in two of our losses. Yes, it’s all important, but looking at the results of those games it’s pretty obvious we were terrible in both those categories. If we make a few more free throws, and avoid losing on the boards and giving the other team several second-chance points. We win those games.
True but by get more boards just gives us more chances to turn it over or air ball a 3 pt shot rite?

I never said that wasn’t a problem. Just stating those were our two biggest problems in those games.
Actually not being able to play against the zone defense is what cost us the most. Until they learn to get it inside and drive the lane along with making the free throws they will still get beat. That’s on the Coaching staff.
