And now begins cupcake portion of the nonconference schedule. Some might think these games not so important, but in my years watching OSU, you can glean a lot from how they handle these types of opponents.
The best years we had under Sutton saw us beating these types by at least 30 if not 40 or 50. See the women’s team. They’re administering backyard beat-downs on those types of opponents right now. If the men start winning these types of games by 40+ instead of 10 to 15 as we have the last few years, then it’s one more indicator we have a sure tourney team on our hands.
I’m guessing we will based on the first two outings.
I really like this Miller guy.
That and the committee has tended to judge us more on bad losses than good wins.
