Betting can never be allowed by pro and college athletes when they bet on their own team. TTU will be fine, they got a couple of gimmes the first couple of games and Hammond should be back by the 3rd game. He was giving us the business till he got hurt. But forget them, we got them at home this season…time for an upset. :joy_cat:

Coach Morris just sounds more and more like a great person, friend and coach. I like a first year coach who knows to stay out of all the craziness of other teams. He’s got more important things to talk about.

Agreed. He’s clearly a class act. Handles these situations with love and grace.

I’m pretty sure a half drunk midget could’ve gave last years team the business to be fair.

“The own team” thing is bad, but I don’t think they should be able to bet on any sport. These athletes are all pals and know each other. They go to camps together, play pickup games with each other, have the same agents, go on each other’s podcasts, etc. etc. etc. You don’t know what kind of inside information they’re getting about injuries or strategy or whatever. They could stat shave for each other. Other favors could be exchanged.

Hah hah, very true. :joy_cat:

True, but what about other sports that are not of their own school? I don’t think they should go there either or they might end up a degenerate gambler like Sorsby…
