Is ou or texas better then osu as a program. Well we can go back 18 years and find at least 2 for each of them not meeting their predicted out come. Plus the are over 20 media outlets that do predictions, how can you really say they didnt meet all of them. This year there 4 or 5 teams predicted to be in the title game. So at least 50% of the teams won’t make their predicted spot. Can you not see that your an idiot argueing over 2 years of a couple of predictions. Seriously you got to let it go. Injuries are important. Look at the last 2 years. Isu and baylor were the healthiest teams and got to the title game.
Only a team like ou can have injuries and replace people.
Ksu has been 8, 4 and 8. The 4 year they lost the qb.
Thats why people talk about depth.
Of course coaches make a difference. Isu had lil injuries last year with there best team ever and matt lead them to 7 wins

Oklahoma St only has 1 Pro…but its a big one: The current status of their program. OSU is currently a top 25 football program, which would be easily good enough to get them into a theoretical 40 team division. The problem is that it doesnt bring anything else in terms of TV market, eyeballs, facilities, recruiting ground. This is going to rub virtually every OSU fan on here the wrong way…but their biggest help at getting in may actually be by done by the OSU brass reaching out to OU.
Your just repeat yourself. Osu will not put a drag on tv rating. Whats this bs about recruiting. The is no place Alabama cant go to recruit, and that was before any of the texas schools showed up.

Texas has been to the Big 12 championship game just as many times as OSU since they brought it back in 2017. They also have the same amount of NY6 bowls.

It depends on what the game is. If it has anything to do with a championship or prime time game more often than not people are going to change the channel on their televisions. Nobody wants to watch Gundy lose another game by three touchdowns or more.

Notice how I said “more often than not”. If you’re not a fan of either team are you going to continue watching a game where it’s 58-23 or 41-13? Are you going to continue watching a game where the coach punts with 12 minutes still left signaling to his team and everyone watching that he gives up?
