It only took two games for the season to begin testing Oklahoma State’s depth. Much has been made of Oklahoma State’s thin depth at quarterback following Hauss Hejny’s injury in the season opener. But that isn’t the only position where the Cowboys are running low on available options. Of course, every injury could matter even more this season with rosters capped at 105 players for the first time. Note: This will be updated as more information becomes available following postgame interviews. Injury update QB Hauss Hejny: Underwent surgery to repair a Jones fracture. He will miss multiple weeks. More on his timeline for returning to the field can be read here. Oklahoma State has three quarterbacks left on the roster, but two of them were in high school last season. The Cowboys will want to protect Zane Flores at all cost, although Gundy said the team won’t play scared when it comes to its quarterback situation. TE Quinton Stewart: Carted off early in the game and was later seen in a boot. Oscar Hammond: Didn’t make the trip, according to the broadcast, after also missing the opener. Oklahoma State has seven tight ends listed on the roster, but the injuries to…

I’d say the fanbase position is wearing thin.

True

What are we getting from Rob Glass at this point?

I’m not blaming him, but if he is the highest paid strength and conditioning coach, then we either need to be preventing injuries or being bigger/faster/stronger/more conditioned than other teams consistently.

Neither of those things are happening.

I don’t think depth is much of an issue when it comes to 69-3.

Yea well it’s probably a good thing that you aren’t in charge of fixing college football

Don’t get upset with me because your phony optimism was crushed by brutal reality. Gonna call you Mr. Talent Gap for now on.

Yea it’s not phony when it doesn’t exist. I’m not sure where you got the idea that I am optimistic about anything of what is going on.

You’re going to really try to sit here and say you weren’t optimistic during the summer time? Boy, you people sure do change your tune at the first signs of disaster. At least I’m consistent on my pessimistic views.

All I knew was there was wholesale change in the coaching staff and roster. I had no clue of what to expect. I think that is a reasonable way to look at it.
