Yes, yes, it is. You say you don’t believe hiring fired 60 year old coaches is the right thing to do, but continually lament a 60 year old guy (closer to 70 now) that got continually fired after he left here. Make up your mind.
I told you earlier this year I’m willing to give Meacham and Grantham a chance until they prove otherwise. I also said I don’t believe hiring 60 year old coaches in this day and age is the right direction. I never even said you HAD to bring Wickline back. My argument was more attuned to his success while he was here. That success needs to be replicated again.
Any coach I’ve named (Especially Monken and Knowles) gave us that success when they were here. Again, you’re not paying attention to what’s being said and discussed

You know, that is kinda funny how the best OL coach during the Gundy era couldn’t last but about 3 years anywhere else. I guess it’s not that strange since Gundy’s been here 21 years but wouldn’t have lasted more than 3 years anywhere else.

How many schools would like a 170-88 record over 20 years jug ? Course I know you will bring up championships and blah blah. We would all like having more championships but it’d hard to fire that record

First you say I love it when we lose, now you say I cry all the time. The truth is you’re just stupid. You think Gundy is the only coach who can win 1 conference title in 20+ years. Tell me what making a bowl has done for this university? Does the national media think Gundy is such a good coach that after one bad year he’ll be right back competing for the conference? Definitely not. Funny going from 3 wins to 5 wins might mean they think we have an easier schedule. If Chad can start bringing in money like Texas Tech we know Gundy can win the conference once with a few 100 million thrown at him. So I guess there’s always hope.

UT-Martin’s coach is 124-90 overall. He’s won his conference 5 times since 2006. How does a coach with a worse record win his conference five times more than the “best coach” in school history in essentially the same amount of time?
Kyle Whittingham has 3 conference titles.
