Per a CBS article published tonight -
"Gundy’s buyout is $15 million and remains unchanged for another three seasons. It doesn’t matter if OSU makes its move today or in November 2026; the cost is the same, but the program’s stock may continue to sink. "
If that doesn’t settle if for you, I don’t know what will. Fire him tomorrow. Before he can damage the reputation of this program further.

Not to mention the number of drops and a horrible PI no call. Things shake out slightly different if a few of these take place.
Looks like those formerly fired 60 year old coaches I said I didn’t think were the answer are working quite well for us .

That is true.
Trying to save $5, $10, hell even $15 million by waiting on the buyout to come down is maddeningly short sighted. The damage done to the program by keeping him will end up costing 10 times that, maybe more.

If we’ve reached the point that we’re blaming missed calls after scoring 12 points in a home loss to TULSA after a bye week, that says more than enough about the state of the program.

I was about to say the same exact thing. It’s like everyone forgot we used to be able to score a touchdown in 2 minutes against a team like this. Now it takes us more than three quarters to do so.

5 points per game against the last 3 FBS teams we’ve played.
And not even cracking 30 against UT Martin should have alerted everybody. Past teams would have dropped 45 by the third quarter and put in the backups.

Could not have picked a worse time to become a bottom feeder again. Looking forward to being a division 2 team when we inevitably get left behind by the super conferences.
