BOXSCORE The Cowboys appeared to be headed for their first Big 12 win in nearly two calendar years, but the Knights showed up on in the second half and sent their seniors off in style. Oklahoma State fell to UCF 17-14 on the road. The Cowboys took a 14-0 lead at the end of the second quarter but gave up 17 unanswered points. It is their 10th consecutive loss. They at least started on a good note. The Cowboys scored a touchdown on their opening drive thanks to a five-yard connection between Zane Flores and Gavin Freeman. Freeman led the Cowboys with five catches and 40. Flores took the scoring into his own hands later in the half. After the Cowboys had turned in a pair of consecutive three-and-outs, he led a 12-play, 77-yard drive capped with his own six-yard TD run to put the Pokes up 14-0. Unfortunately for OSU, that was where the offense essentially checked out. It was a tale of halves. While the Cowboys’ defense shut out the Knights in the first half, it was the Knights that clamped down on D in the second. After giving up just 43 yards in the first quarter, the…

At least this miserable season is almost over

They truly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Once again, Defense played good enough, Offense was downright offensive. Man, I wish we could keep Parker Robertson another year. He reminds me a little bit of Malcom Rodriguez.

Not when you find the right coach.

lol like who? I’m sure you’re one of the low rent idiots who thinks the dogshit north Texas coach will be an improvement.

Any updates on when the Gundy statue is to be dedicated? Have they chosen between the mullet or no mullet versions?

I’m one of those idiots. Morris will not only bring in head coaching and QB development, but he will also bring players and the ability to really recruit in Texas. That being said, it was a huge mistake to fire Gundy mid-season. Should have finished with him as a “lame duck” coach worst case scenario.

I don’t know how to break this to you, but Gundy wasn’t there today and had little to do with this loss.

I like to think he was there in spirit.

Probably won’t create a team or coaching staff that goes winless in the conference for two years straight :man_shrugging:.

Neither did Gundy. Gundy didn’t hire the person to be HC, DC, or OC who currently fills those positions. We also wouldn’t have had the portal defections, so it’s really not his team or staff. He’s gone. You got what you want. Get over it. Go see a therapist about how Mike Gundy dominates your life.

Gundy had a staff and team in 2024 while still being the HC the entire season. Gundy also hired the staff that recruited these players to be here. A staff and players that will be 0-18 in the conference. He started the 2025 season, and he couldn’t finish it because of his incompetence and refusal to change. You can continue in your delusion if you must. The rest of us can see what happened.

Hey champ,

This is the pot calling the bathtub black. You’re certifiable.

I wasn’t the one trying to say none of this is Gundy’s fault. You’re either completely ignorant of who coached OSU football in 2024 and why the greatest coach in school history got fired after losing at home to Tulsa for the first time in 74 years. Think about how bad we were between that time, and he did something historically bad. Again, living delusional.

Hey champ,

Please take your meds.

I’m not the one suffering amnesia Chump.
