Second highest score for Tech this year (66 at north Texas). Third highest? 52 against Abilene Christian and needed OT to get that.

I really hope both Dunn and Nardo are gone. For those of you that think Dunn is still worthy. Let me remind you the last two seasons he’s the same guy that doesn’t get his offense up and running until halfway through the season.
He’s also the same guy that struggles to score touchdowns (plural) in the first half. Also still the same guy that couldn’t figure out how to get the best running back in the country over 4 yards per rush. If Gundy doesn’t get rid of him then Weiberg needs to do it for him.
Btw, Smith was 26-36 for 326 yards and two touchdowns. Only one interception. I’d guess he wasn’t ready to play at this level 
. Surprised he played that well with almost no “experience”.

So let’s ask a question about firing Gundy. I agree with most that its not likely. But say you don’t, and just fire Nardo and Dunn and the underlying coaching staff. Next year is going to be all new systems with all new players (at least 8 Offensive and Defensive starters). Its not likely to be a “great” year for the Pokes. So you’re not going to get a good judgement of the program from one year, and will give it another year. So if you aren’t firing Gundy this year, then you are pretty much committing to him through '26.
At this point, the reasons are self-evident.
Holgorsen just went to Nebraska mid-season. So, I don’t want to hear that there would’ve been no point getting rid of him kid-season. Give me Holgy over any of our last 3 OCs in a heartbeat.
That being said, idk if Holgy would ever work for Gundy again.

I doubt it. Gundy only micromanages the coaches that know what they’re doing. He doesn’t do it to any of his Yes Men. Which is why we’re stuck with the turd sandwich we have right now. He’s even admitted in his press conferences he doesn’t review their game plans.

We’re pretty much going to be forced to commit to him until then. Which is why I think the most realistic course of action is to hire proven coordinators. Imagine not firing anyone this year and still committing to him until 2026?
