If anyone can explain why Dunn is still OC when his offense returned virtually all its starters, but is worse than last year, I’m all ears.

You can stop mentioning winning a conference championship. With Gundy it will never happen, 2011 was a fluke.

Dunn needs to be fired immediately. Hand play calling over to anyone else.
Mediocrity (at best) is his legacy.

We just have to get rid of Kasey Dunn. But I’ve been saying this since the 48-0 loss against K State 2 years ago. Where is the accountability for poor coaching?

Both Bowman and Dunn need to go at minimum. No way this team is a top 25 contender, much less a conference championship.

Dunn needs to be gone immediately. You can’t return your entire offensive production and justify being this bad offensively.

At this point, I’m wanting Flores to just go ahead and play. When Bowman has to play P4 competition that’s worth anything he flounders.

I’m not completely ready to give up on Nardo. The offense not being able to keep the defense off the field is a massive issue. However, he’s not really shown me much improvement in year two. Note to Gundy: Stop hiring D2 coaches.

I hope people realize it doesn’t matter if OU or Texas are in the conference. Gundy isn’t winning a conference title or coming close to it unless he has an excellent OC or DC on his staff. I’ve been saying this for years now.

Not only do our players have to face the opposing team’s players and coaching staff, but they have to be able to beat our own coaching staff as well.
Remember folks. We did this in 2013 and 2017. Shouldn’t be any surprise we did it this season

Amen x100. Love to hear the “we got outcoached” excuse when your HC is the 15th highest paid coach in the country and #1 in the big 12. Not sure what the going rate is for an average OC but hard to stomach that Kasey Dunn makes 1 mil per year.

Dunn is the 15th highest paid OC in the country, and his offense averages 7.6 points in the first half against P4 competition.

Hard to be a cowboy fan these days. Gundy doesn’t care as long as he gets his millions every year. Offense and Defense
Both piss poor. Hard to watch and I can’t see them winning another game.

Gundy has to make some difficult decisions. 1. Demote Dunn now to Receivers coach only and take over OC for the year. 2. Admit you made a mistake with Nardo and start the search now for his replacement - someone with experience in big-time college football, not someone brought up from the minor leagues. 3. OL Coach Dickey had great success at KState, but no consistent results at OSU - Dickey must go. If Gundy can’t do any of those things, he should be retired by Weiberg after this season - he has lost his fire - that is obvious when you just keep repeating, “We got outcoached.”

Couldn’t agree more. Gundy’s apathy and malaise is infuriating as a fan. I’m sitting here watching B Venables and he coaches with fire and intensity even. Gundy spectates and thinks he’s smarter than everyone else by bringing a pathetic DC here who is consistently outmatched and his players are no where near wide open receivers and are the shittiest tacklers I’ve seen in D1. Again all falls on Gundy who just doesn’t care.

Honest question here: who do we bring in after we fire Gundy?
Performances like today remind me of how I often felt during Boynton’s years with b-ball: apathetic. It’s the worst feeling to have as a fan. But if we’re going to part ways with Gundy who, for better or worse, is synonymous with Oklahoma State, there better be a really great hire coming behind him.
OSU football:
Gundy- 15th highest paid HC
Dunn- 14th highest paid OC coach
Dickey- 14th highest paid OL coach
Rattay- 8th highest paid QB coach

Yet, we average just barely over 5.3 points in the first half against P4 competition. Remember, we scored no first half offensive points against Arkansas. Is this really the best we can do for the money we’re forking over?

I’m not ready to get rid of Gundy, while not winning a championship with this team is absolutely pathetic I just want a new OC and Oline coach. Both have had plenty of time to do good and have proved otherwise. If we had a decent offense I think the defense would have improved this year.
The defense has streaks of being good and I think having to go out after consecutive 3 and outs or close to it over and over again only makes their job harder.
Guess my point is that if Gundy wants to prove he is capable of doing this job he needs to replace some people. If not then he needs to go. It’s hard to argue with his consistent success winning more than losing and I think all he needs is to get decent assistants and stop trying to find D2 coaches.
