The Cowboys collapsed late in Fort Worth.
I have your instant recap. Clary does not need to be the PG going forward.
Clary
FG% 37.1
3pt FG% 28.6
STOP SHOOTING THE F’N BALL!!!
The subject line of this instant recap is actually perfect.
What a clown show. I haven’t been this upset about a loss in a long time. We were plagued by stupid and aimless guard play mixed with a lack of urgency on both ends. All at the end of the game when it matters most.
This is on Lutz.
I recognize Coach Lutz knows more about bball than I’ll ever know but why would this team ever take the air out of the ball late in the game. I haven’t noticed them being a particularly good half court team with really inconsistent point guard play. Oy Ve!!
This has to be the most talented group of individuals who play absolutely terribly as a team. Questionable decision making and lazy defense. It’s pretty hard to miss your last 7 shots to end a game and this team made it look easy
Our point guard play is not good enough
Like I said, have you ever noticed these players on the court pat each other on the ass no. Have you ever watched these players pump each other up no something is missing. In this team. Weird team
Something is missing for sure. There’s zero emotion from anybody on the court…
I really thought the clear leader on the court would either be Clary or Parsa, but neither has really stepped into that role. Parsa is good for energy and getting the crowd into it but this team clearly needs somebody on court to hold them accountable. VJ just seems to be out there doing his own thing, no intensity or anything. Roy only seems to show emotion when he’s on fire or irritated because he’s not getting the ball (I honestly can’t blame him sometimes with how these PGs jack shots…).
Like I mentioned yesterday, we just seemed aimless especially in those last few minutes. We needed somebody on the floor to regulate things and carefully lead that leaky ship to shore. We’re sorely missing that.
I’m not sure which was worse: watching the last five minutes of this game, or having to listen to the TCU broadcast crew. Both the play-by-play guy and his senile color guy (former coach? TCU reporter?) were nauseatingly TCU fan boys to the point of criticizing nearly every call that went OSU’s way. That was rough. And then to have to watch us not play with emotion and listen to them describe how great TCU was playing was a double layered crap sandwich. Makes me appreciate Bryndon Manzer even more.
As for the game, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…whatever happened to the team that clobbered A&M?
