Probably getting a better NIL deal elsewhere as well.

Someone really needs to put salary caps out there. Better yet, if you transfer you sit a year.
I know this is different because he’s not necessarily transferring, but these kids are so scared of competition and are learning a signed contract can be broken at anytime (we’re making the next generation weaker than they already are)

If memory serves…he went to 4 high schools in 4 years so I can’t say i’m shocked. Not sure the reason for the request but if it’s because they brought in more guards and he’s not pleased about that then by all means…request granted.

Well in fairness the the kid, there was a coaching change. New staff might not have been as high on his impact.
This hurts. Proven scorer.
And the guys coming from the portal aren’t exactly name brands.
Dosent hurt at all. Freashmen hurt.
He would probably be redshirted since we have senior guards. He would have been a spot player

The chances of Keeping him or any kid from their freshman year through their senior year going forward will be a challenge and it falls some where between slim and none. Kids don’t want to redshirt and they don’t want to compete against 5 senior transfers. The grass and the money will always be greener on the other side for these kids.
