that 2014 season was so odd. Took the defending champs to the wire. Then Walsh goes down and Daxx comes in.
O-line wasn’t great that season and without a mobile QB, we tanked.
2019, mobile QB has some growing pains early on and o-line isn’t great but QB improves steadily as the season progresses. QB1 gets injured, QB2 comes in but isn’t really a runner. No disrespect to QB2 but having that running threat behind center is crucial to this team. Covers up a lot of issues with an O-line. Hope SS is back/healthy in time for this game.
