Lose this game and OSU is out of the conference and playoff race before the calendar hits October.
Not a good start so far. 8 yards per rush isn’t good defense.
I wouldn’t be opposed to that. You’re out of the Big 12 title race so you might as well give the younger guys some reps.

I was worried that last week’s defensive performance (which allowed 250 yards rushing) was the fool’s gold of playing a freshman QB. No pressure up front, can’t contain rush lanes, and play mostly man concepts is a terrible defensive combination especially against a reasonably mobile QB.
