Harrison hit 69 3s last season at a 38% clip.
He also scored 5 point each game against two sec schools. Played no real team the year before.
We can already see boyntons recruiting falling off.
Need to get another point guard with a couple of years left.
Other than his 3 point shooting I don’t see this kid helping all that much. I hope I’m wrong, but we need kids for 2-3 years of eligibility. I really like Boynton but his recruiting needs to make a big jump
Terrible pickup. Flavors all over again. Bringing a kid from a losing team. Downgrade from Boone and Walker.
Rally 'round Rondel!
Let’s let the guys get here and see what they can do before passing to much judgement
Like this more than the other transfer but neither get me excited like Ramey would.
Let me channel Joey and Ar: I GuEsS nO oNe WaNtS tO cOmE fInIsH iN tHe BoTtOm HaLf Of ThE cOnFeReNcE eVeRy YeAr
Did I do that right? We’ll see. Maybe he can be a role player and spread the floor a little bit.
I can pass judgment. UL Monroe finished 11th in the Sun Belt conference 2 years in a row and he’s the second leading scorer. Sun Belt only has 12 teams. Add that to Wright who hasn’t finished higher than 7th in the Big South conference in 3 seasons and they had Tubby Smith as his coach. Talk about not bringing in guys who are used to winning.
It’s evident that boynton will be going for transfer mostly. What 1 hs recruit in 2years. We got to get kids that want to leave where there at.
I kind of like these guys from smaller schools transfer wise better, they have something to prove at power 5 level. Ramey had his chance to come here and chose texas
That’s what people were probably saying about jaylen warren last year, I’m just saying give the kid a chance before deciding he sucks
So you get a boner for any lineman that transfers into OSU, but a guy that averaged double digits in the Sunbelt conference isn’t good enough?
If you had to trust this guy or Ice with the last shot then who are you picking?
Yes
It’s quite easy to understand. We lost guys like boone and walker. Guys that have started. Guys we know what they can do. Guy like walker is great defender.
We lost backups. So we hope we replaced them with at least that. So a big difference. Two lineman came from power 5 teams.
High point and ulm yes your rite I should be excited, just like when we got flavors from his small school.
I don’t know this guy, but it’s not like he was hitting a lot of game winners at a losing mid major as the second best scorer. So… I don’t know.
It’s funny there are 6 guys who not that happy but, to me first.
I used stat with the games that can relate to him playing here. I did the same with the high point guy. Which his number were good. This kids worst numbers were against the better competition.
But you compare him two a couple of power 5 backup line men
Looks like Boyton wants to stay long and athletic with defense as the main focus. I don’t hate that, but being able to hit some consistent shots would be nice also. While I think this team still needs some scoring help, the future is the issue to me right now. We need a freshman PG in this class unless Quion is supposed to turn into that?
After looking who we have to settle for from the transfer, I think it will only be a few more years when we see coach Boynton gone.
