Louisiana-Monroe Transfer Russell Harrison Commits to Oklahoma State

OK, stop playing with Robert. What’s your prediction? You’re acting like these transfers are going to improve us. How much are you polishing this turd? We going to finish in the top half of the conference?

You are proving you are an idiot Joey if you would have thrown Rudolph in as a true freshman with a porous OL …… I’m with Robert, that soft spot in your head hasn’t closed real good :joy::joy::cowboy_hat_face:

Yeah…I’m sure his seasonal stats didn’t play a factor at all. You sure your frontal lobe is okay?

We did it against Baylor that same season. Looks like we should’ve went that route when JW got hurt. Garman transferred to Maryland and couldn’t even start there. Looks like another QB blunder by the man himself.:man_shrugging:

I don’t know if these transfers are going to improve us or not. I just think it’s a little hypocritical to praise any football player that transfers to OSU, and automatically downgrade any player that transfers to the OSU basketball program. That just tells me he doesn’t support all OSU athletics as he claims.

I’ve been saying for a while now if Boynton doesn’t do better next season to consider getting rid of him. Predicting what a player is just based on a couple of games is kind of ridiculous. Even Cade had a couple of bad games when he was here, and he was the #1 pick in the draft.

I would think since we have some players that can actually shoot the ball now that we would see some improvement on the offensive side of the ball (especially free throws). We can actually force the opposing defense to spread out and actually guard the perimeter.

Everyone thinks the basketball team was worse than they actually were last year. There are easily 7 games or more where it could’ve gone either way. They were rarely blown out, and they had two seniors on the team. Obviously they hadn’t proven they were world beaters, but they also weren’t a team anyone could mark as an automatic W on the schedule.

Everyone on here was praising Iowa State and saying we should be like them (even though they finished lower in the conference). Add into that they had 7 players transfer in before the start of the season and didn’t play the 5th toughest schedule in the country. Just saying to give it a chance. I think we’ll be 5th or higher in the conference next season.

Now you try turning your tune around about being a true fan Joey !! That’s laughable :joy::joy: I just don’t like the portal players he’s brought in this year. None are sought after players and all just have one year. You are a hypocrite to write that chit !! I like Boynton but his recruiting has been bad. Where do you come up with all this wild drama chit, I’ve seen this movie before!!

Joy I went and read a nfl scout report on woods. And it’s exactly what we have all been saying. His hands aren’t that good and he blocks like your grandma. They felt he is very athletic and had great combine numbers.
The only thing they said that we have is he isn’t the best route runner.
When you read draft reports like this and the kid gets drafted it’s because you got some gm gambling.
Look at the kid who went before him. His combine numbers were poor but he had over a 1000 yards last year.

You were on gundy for getting Danny. I wasn’t because the Mac is know for there lineman. When your getting a guy who has been all Mac then he should be good.

High point, ulm and Texas state dnt bring the same confidence. Unlike you joy who uses women intuition, I use common sense and logic.

Osu isn’t a place that can get 2 5 star qb that can take you to 3rd place. So you will have a bad qb. But your the one who wants to bring back them to coach.

Joy is a freak. Going on about isu. Isu coach after 1 year doubled boynton ncaa wins.
Yea that Arkansas coach pulled in an amazing class.
It was like 4 5stars. He brought in a whole new team, 10 guys. I dnt know if it’s money but to elite 8’s didn’t hurt.

We finished 5th with Cade. You think we’re going to possibly exceed that this year? Like we have some kind of seasoned veteran presence that’s going to be better than a superstar? Boynton doesn’t finish in the top. He just doesn’t. League is too strong and he’s not that good.

There’s no “consider firing him”. This is ridiculous. We just extended him and we’d have to pay a huge buyout. Shouldn’t have given him such a large contract. He’s done nothing. We’re stuck with him for 3 years.

Weren’t you the one saying “Why can’t we be like Iowa State?”. You might get your wish. Players transferring in that weren’t sought after . Don’t know why you would be so desperate to finish lower in the conference. No wonder you’re a Mike Gundy fan.

Apparently neither was James Washington. I know you won’t say he sucks though.

The kid from Texas State was the leading scorer on a team that finished #1 in the Sunbelt. How is he any different from Dan Godlevske? If anything it should give you more confidence.

You blamed a player for not getting the winning touchdown when he was 3rd string behind a line that’s down a lineman, and had 18 rushes for 30 yards before the run. Common sense tells you it’s a bad play call. Also, where did Miami (OH) finish in the MAC when Godlevske was on that team?

Will your mind change if something positive happens over the next three years?

Joy I gave you a real reason why to like Danny. You then tell me it’s not because he played for a bad team( vandy).
I love talking to you you run around with your head cut off. This is usually we I talk about your double standards. I have a feeling your not smart enough to know what I’m talking about.

Hey if this kid from the sun belt comes in and plays great. With out Google can you tell the last NBA playing from the sun belt was. Or for that fact any thing the sun belt has done.

The woods route running is actually straight from the article. I dnt think anyone on here every said it. So like I said from the article it said he will get draft because he athletic and his combine #'s. That wouldn’t have changed at osu. But he could have help us to the playoffs.

How many years do we give boynton. It has nothing to do with players. He has had good players. It comes down to he has no offense identity. Only times he has won 20 games is when the team scores 76 points.
Do not deflect. This is the only reason. Simple.
He needs to change his philosophy.

I’m just more on the fact that you didn’t produce any kind of credible evidence that he was on a draft board before leaving OSU (or after). I even provided you an article where he wasn’t. I’m not the one lying here and trying to take the focus off of what we first started talking about in relation to Woods. You’re just jumping around everywhere and talking about stuff to deflect from you being wrong the entire time.

When you have Ice as your point guard shooting 53% from the free throw line, and Walker bricking every shot he takes from the perimeter it’s kind of hard to establish a decent offensive identity.

Why the hell do you think he’s going after guys that can make shots? He’s proving to you right now he recognizes a problem and is trying to address it. Is that not a philosophical change? It’s not like he’s been ignoring a positional problem for 8 years like Gundy as been.

This is my last time I’m on this woods deal. The reason he got draft is because of his size and combine.
He has many problems. They are betting he has an upside.

The other thing. I’m using your article to prove there was talk about about woods draft at osu. Read this slow. " you said that MOST people didn’t talk about him being draft while at osu". So most people is like 90 out of 100. Some that means 10 are talking about it. 10 out of 100 is some.
Like I said if you can’t understand it I’m done.

On boynton stop deflecting. Their is no comparison.
He is a simple deal, if you shoot 28% why do you let your team keep shooting 20 a game. Hope and pray method. You are helping my point. Ice came in shooting 68% from the ft line. Walker shot better his first year.
Goes back to my main point. Boynton hasn’t developed anyone.
76 point is not a big number. It stand out to be for boynton. I would say its where he would like to be, and pretty average.

I’m for pushing up the floor, but if it does work or you didn’t push it, he needs to actually run a real offense.

You notice jug never helps you on bb. First he doesn’t care. Second he would have fired Boynton by now.

Sure. He probably needs to make a Sweet 16 and two tournament appearances. Minimum.

Well boynton just lost Parker Friedrichsen

Not a good look. I don’t know Boynton losing out on him because of something he is doing or if is because of NIL but this is a big red flag.
