Man, Mike Gundy was, in several key ways, really failing the athletic department. Every day that goes by strengthens my opinion that it was way past time for him to go.

It’s actually jarring to read these quotes and see how bad it was. Just makes me sad, to be honest.

Tulsaworld dropped an article about Chad getting canned potentially very soon? What’s up with that? We haven’t even seen a full year of the one hire that truly makes or breaks his job.
Absolutely bizarre.
It looks like it’s two-fold (1) not fundraising enough, and (2) lingering resentment over him sticking with Gundy beyond 2024.
I’ll stand with Chad through all of it. There’s no way he could move on from Mike after one bad year, even though HCMG was clearly missing the mark on a lot of fronts. And, he found a way to reduce the buyout, fire him quickly in 2025 and get the jump on Morris.
As it stands, I think the collective coaching roster we have is the best OSU has been in my lifetime.
Why is Coach Holliday not weighing in?
