Congrats to the young man although I wish the final outcome was different.
Apparently he was ready.
Still waiting to see if he has that “experience”.
Was he ready in week 1?
Glad Gundy waited until the season’s effectively over to give him a shot. Par for the course.
“Well, I think all of it surprised me. Just because you don’t ever know, right? Until we put him out there and let him play. That position is just different until they get out there and they play a whole game and they feel like nobody’s looking over their shoulder and all those different things that you never know how they’re going to react. But I thought he had poise and played with confidence.”
Mike Gundy
One of the worst coaches in college football at choosing a QB trying to tell us “you just don’t ever know, right?”. Nah, the history tells us what we already know . If he, in some way, remains the HC for the next several years it should be instituted into his next contract that he gets absolutely no say in who the starting QB will be. Sometimes Gundy needs saving from himself. Which is what some of you don’t seem to realize.
Ummm, Mike got ownership in a weed farm?
Would explain a lot…
