I don’t know why several of OSU’s seniors wouldn’t come back. Most aren’t going to get drafted so why not get your masters degree paid for??

One reason is the toll it takes on their bodies, all the injuries even if not major ones. Also, not all the players are into academics, so graduate school would be quite a chore. And for some, enough is enough. Malcom Rodriquez returning is a total unexpected surprise that I didn’t even consider would be a possibility. So I will consider that to be my Christmas gift. It’s going to be a long wait till next season, especially considering that the basketball team might struggle in conference play.
