Ice should shoot more. He is stronger and more physical than most guards and is really good in the mid-range. I know stats tell you that mid range jumpers are the most inefficient shot in basketball, but what exactly has been efficient about the offense the last month?
The announcers have been mediocre but one thing they said was spot on, you have to play basketball with confidence.
If you missed it he said that Boynton relayed that early in the year we thought we could beat the Detroit Pistons, obviously we could not but the team thought they could. Now if you were to tell them they are about to play Stillwater High they would be like ehhh maybe we can pull it off.
Demeanor of the team looks a lot different, and Boynton should fire their a** up at the half. OSU by 10. I like the quick turn around with KU Monday and their continued distraction of a few guys out.
12 assists in the first half. Here’s what the games since Southeastern have looked like in terms of full game assists:
- TTU: 6
- WVU: 8
- TCU: 10
- UT: 19
- BU: 14
- ISU: 14
I’ve been screaming about how subpar they’ve been in ball distribution.
Hold up… let’s not act like some success against a bad SEC team proves he can coach. We have 2 1/2+ years that might prove otherwise.
Rather have Boynton or Buzz going forward?
This is a game thread. It’s not a season or tenure thread. Be in the moment instead of spewing old rhetoric.
We talking Aldrin, Lightyear or Williams?
Is Buck Rogers not available?
Buzz. Not close.
I was out of the country for the last few games, but Ice looks more like the pre-sickness Ice. Am I wrong?
Stop. When others are using this game as proof he can coach in this thread, it’s a fair counter point.
Definitely looking more like his early season self.
That’s the second flopping bs offensive foul call on dizzy.
I do not like that call. They spent a full season trying to get that call out of the game
Not sure that Anderson needs to be jacking 3s
If dizzy. An throw a guy that far across the floor, he has to be out benching Cam.
Agreed.
Yes we have examples of him showing promise and him showing inexperience…
In those 2 1/2 years he also coached his a** off with that 17-18 team and everyone knows that was an NCAA tournament team, not to mention the year prior convincing Underwood to make the adjustment on defense to get that team to the Tourney. We can agree to disagree
Show me where anyone referenced a two year data point.
