Good thing he ended up at Oklahoma state because he’s the only man in the whole wide world that could win as much in the small town of Stillwater uh Roberto? And you three amigos would never have your super hero lol.

To think OU could have only won 1 conference title in 17 years.

Jug and Jeff trying to yuk it up cause Gundy turned down Switzer….I knew you 3 were goon fans. Just think if he doesn’t come here we are still trying to win 6 games

OU would never have made Mike Gundy the HC. From the sound of things, Gundy’s words, he probably would have not gotten to even play if we went to OU much less became HC.

Why do you think Gary Patterson was fired? He won a conference championship :trophy: since Gundy’s, made it to the conference championship game before Gundy, only had two seasons where he wasn’t bowl eligible.

Looks like TCU has higher expectations than OSU.

I think you are trying to miss lead people. He had 3 years with 8 wins or more and 4 years of losing record.
The other 4 years was 6 or 7 wins.

Thats a big difference with gundy. 1 year with a losing record. 4 years and 7 wins. 12 years of 8 wins or more.

Big difference

TCU has higher expectations? How so?

Patterson shared a conference championship in 2014 with Baylor, to whom TCU lost. Since then, it’s been a disaster, with three losing seasons and two other disappointments: 7-6 and 6-4 seasons. He didn’t build a culture of winning, much less a culture of championships.

Gary also has a statue on Campus. I’m guessing there was a serious falling out between TCU and Gary that transcended on the field performance

Mike Gundy is one of the very best fits ever for Oklahoma State. His character and honesty are what college and education should be about.

Agree. But be wary of the trolls here within, they will try to convince your otherwise via massive drivel posting

That’s what the college experience should be about !! Exactly right. All this money being poured into NIL will eventually eat college football up. Hope it doesn’t happen but I can see someone buying a championship. That’s not the right way to do it …

Yep. Prior to Coach Gundy, we experienced decades of ups and downs (mostly downs), coaches moving up, coaches being fired, coaches with ethical problems, probations and mostly misery for true fans. Coach Gundy has slowly and methodically built a culture of winning and integrity. He is building something that will very likely endure, which is incredibly hard to do and pretty rare. Ask most of the teams in the SEC and Big10: they are thick with has-beens and wannabes. Within the Big 12, ask top-5-recruiting-class-after-class, coach-changing Texas.

That’s a looser mentality. That’s why your a looser lol

Tcu= way harder to recruit to a Christian private school. Think you are trying to miss lead people and yourself there darling.

Nobody here ever said gundy done a bad job or is doing a bad job. We are saying he’s not a championship coach and not even close, so do you stick with a guy that can’t do it? What are your expectations for OSU football. That’s what it comes down tooooo.

Did you just sober up or just start drinking. ? Either way it shows you never went to college Jeffy
