Well, I guess I know what I’ll be watching Monday night.
I’m glad he’s still involved. Hope it’s civil - I’m sure it stings to see all the hoopla without being a part of it. Harsh lesson: you either chose your exit or it gets chosen for you.

You know I can’t hate Gundy because he gave us lots of highs that we had never been. I loved him at the time. Portal ate him up and his ego got in the way again but I hate the way he left the program at an all time low

Watching it now. So far so good
I missed the first half. Second half was fine! He didn’t say a word about OSU. The only thing I thought was funny was all the coaches saying go for it on 4th and 5 and Gundy saying “y’all got me nervous!” and then IU converted. It was a very good watch! They pointed out some great stuff and I loved that they weren’t trying to be funny. They were just talking shop and discussing what might be going through people’s minds from players to coaches to coordinators. It was nice to hear his voice again. And to hear him not even say anything about his situation or his time as a coach was pretty cool. But again, didn’t hear the first half so maybe he got it all out at that time

Gundy had no one to blame but Gundy himself. He still thought he could win with kids that didn’t love football like kids we have had. JT, MRod, Presley most kids we have had just loved playing. His ego and aloofness got his azz. He wouldn’t try for donors , hardly went to fundraisers or events in the summer. Man did he leave a dumpster fire

I watched in spurts and thought Gundy was very, very different as a “civilian” as opposed to HCMG. I thought he was relaxed. Didnt seem arrogant or trying to be the funniest guy in the room. I thought he was really good.

I watched the whole thing and I would agree. You never know, might be the first step towards getting a TV gig. I think a good spot would be TNT since they’re getting more involved with Big 12 football. Time will tell I guess.
I think hed be good in that capacity. I typically cant stand Gundy for his antics and just generally how he handles his business. But Mon night he was very good. Like I said, didnt seem like he was trying to be too cute. Didnt make it about himself.
