I guess Mestemaker might be too expensive and going to get offered some Chad Morris (QB at UVA who was UNT last season) type NIL, i.e. a million beans???

Have you heard the story of Mestemaker? Didnāt start at QB since 9th grade and that was their B team. Leads the nation this season in passing. But okay, you know best, LOL.

We either have Free Speech in this country or we donāt. I may not like what someone says, but Iāll defend that personās right to say it. Havenāt we noticed how thatās slowly being curtailed by the guvāmint? If you donāt think so, look what the UK is doing, jailing people for social media posts and comments.

Morris offered Mateer 6/28/21 while at Incarnate Word, then he went to Washington State in early December of 2021 and Washington State offered Mateer 1/14/22.
Almost identical timeline with Mahomes. But youāre the expert, I can only read the timelines.
If you want to think Morris found all these guys and is the QB guru, knock yourself out. If you think the guy who knew Mayfiled, Mahomes, Ward, Mateer were all going to be #1 picks, to Superstars, to highest rated portal QBāsā¦so be it.

Cam Ward is his guy, without argument. Morris will do a very good job at OSU. No criticism of him in any way. Really good hire

I plan on knocking myself out because after two or 3 of those guys, he doesnāt have to find those guys, they find him. Like Mestemaker.
You think he noticed Mestemaker and loved him so much that heā¦made him walk on? I wont aruge with you because im not being critical of Morris. But if he liked him so much and was so sure of what he could becomeā¦then he would have prioritized him more than just a walk on initially. He gets credit for coaching him and helping turn him into what he is today.
It reminds me of how the Patriots get the credit for having the brilliance of knowing what Tom Brady could beā¦when they picked 6 other guys before they got to him.

Maybe you havenāt heard the story but Morris got a call from one of his friends that said he needed to look at Mestemaker. Morris said send me his tape. The friend said thatās the deal, he hasnāt played quarterback in high school.
