This guy could sign Harrison Beck in his current state as ThrowGod to be our QB and I would trust him. He’s proven trustworthy with his track record.

Excuse me if I don’t start doing backflips on this guy.
I mean, I’m happy he’s chosen OSU over UNT, but after so many QBs that did pretty well in high school only to crap out at OSU is not getting me moist.

Patrick Mahomes was a 3-star
Baker Mayfield was a 3-star
Cam Ward was unranked.
John Mateer was a 3-star.
Drew Mestemaker was unranked.

I trust Morris to find these guys.

Patrick Mahomes: That was Kingsbury. Not Morris. Morris got on the Tech staff in Jan of 13. Mahomes was already signed to play @Tech. He didnt find Mahomes.

Mayfield: Mayfield left Tech in Dec of 13 & wasnt even on scholarship. Sonny Combie and Kingsbury were the guys running that deal.

Mateer: He didnt find Mateer. Mateer committed and signed before Morris was even making offers on the staff. The year they were there together, Mateer redshirted.

Ward and Mestemaker are his two guys. Not those others

Now youre asking if he coached them? The answer is yes. I think we all know that you were alluding to Morris being responsible for what Mahomes, Mayfield and Mateer have become or are in the process of becoming. That would be like saying one slice of red velvet made someone fat.

I think thats an attempt at humor…but it just wasnt a very good one. To try and say someone is fat…that youve never seen before, is a lame attempt. Be better. If you cant, just stick to posting thoughts. Stay away from jokes

I think its funny that you think someone disagreeing with you on a forum is a form of policing. Its not about disliking your post. Its about this being a FORUM, which is a place for discussion. If you dont like that aspect of it, perhaps you should just scream at the wall or talk to your hand?

My mother-in-law doesnt know sports, but she doesnt waste everybodys time trying to sound as though she does. Perhaps you should try the same approach…

This feels like a backup option if Mestemaker goes else where, which given the offers he’s supposedly receiving, wouldn’t surprise me.

I think Mestemaker going somewhere else for more money would be pretty short sighted on his part. Dude should stick with the guy that got him from being a PWO QB that didn’t even play QB in HS to where he is now. Dude has a NFL shot if he plays this right. Gambling that on a new coach ain’t worth it.

Yep banning people for their opinion and even more for stating facts one doesn’t like is not a good thing. Move to the UK if you want to operate under those kind of rules.
