Recapping an epic weekend for OSU wrestling.

After last year’s finish, I said I wasn’t ready to say that OSU wrestling was back.

After this year’s performance, I have no doubt:

OSU WRESTLING IS BACK!!!

Amazing weekend. They far exceeded my expectations

The media loves Jax cause the story of his transfer, redshirt, and style of wrestling (all warranted and I do too) but they have been sleeping on Sergio Vega!

This dude didn’t give up a single takedown all year! For context, Alex Dieringer only gave up one his SENIOR season. Vega didn’t give up a single one as a freshman. Oh yeah, and Dieringer won the Hodge that year. Now Vega usually didn’t win in a dominant fashion like Alex did but still… Not to take away from Jax or Landon but in my opinion what Vega did tonight against a 2x National Champ in his Senior year was more impressive than the other two wins.

Pumped for all the guys that wrestled this weekend! Go Pokes!
