I wonder if Ogbah is still asking that his salary be paid in Bitcoin. Dude must’ve made a fortune if he kept most of the BTC he was paid when it was a LOT cheaper than it is now…and still going nuts.
I think only if Rodgers gets hurt or just stinks it up. He wasn’t the old Arod last season, but he also wasn’t terrible after a rough start. Jets had a lot of issues. But Rudy always had the ability, just never got a fair shot, when he did early on, Steelers O-line was horrible. He did well last season though to get my favorite NFL team to the playoffs.
I don’t want him to at all but I think AR gets dinged up. I think that’s the line for Mason. I also think they AR will help Mason along and mentor him somewhat.
IMO the Steelers play Rogers even if he is a bit inferior to Mason. Rogers is going to sell tickets because Steeler fans will want to see what happens which will likely turn out not to be good. However there is a good chance Mason will play as I think Rogers will get hurt somewhere along the way. The worse thing that can happen to the Steelers this season is that they end up being one of the worse teams in the league, get a good draft pick and draft their next franchise QB.

Yeah I like AR as a player and I like him to start the season and I hope he’s healthy. I just also hope there is an opportunity for Mason. If the Steelers get a good year going that’s great. I haven’t seen what their draft positions look like for next year and I don’t keep up with those things but I could see them taking another qb or two after this season.
