Oddsmakers aren’t looking fondly at the Pokes.

Well first of all it’s OSU. They hate us. Secondly, there’s not a QB on the team who’s ever thrown a pass in a college game. We’ll have to work our way out of this hole.

Not a surprise given how last year turn out and all the questions this team has.
I can see a realistic path to a 7-5 season (though I wouldn’t put money on it):
Wins: UT Martin, Tulsa, Arizona, Houston, Cincinnati, Kansas, UCF
Losses: Oregon, Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Iowa State

All sportsbooks and the people that work there hate OSU?
The line is set to try to entice bets that make the sports books money.
That’s the entire basis of the line - no ulterior motives.

I believe we will surprise some people and win 6+ games.

I would guess 4 to 6 wins if the O line can block. I don’t think we’ll surprise anybody.

Or it could be the fact that almost every time we return a majority of our starters since 2011 we underperform? Plus the uncertainty with the transfer portal and everything else. I would say we could be the next ASU. However, Dillingham actually takes his coaching seriously.

About right.

Don’t forget the challenge of installing a new offense and defensive schemes. One is bad enough, two is a rebuilding year.

Probably play 4 quarterbacks through the first 4 games and pick the wrong one lol.

I’d take the over on that.
