Oklahoma State Corner Jabbar Muhammad Enters Transfer Portal

@robert28 Again I have no clue what he has done this year. I do know that he will get to be part of what most if not all D1 football players dream of and when he is on the field he will get significant exposure, good or bad. That’s the truth. Anything else is just speculation.

I think exposure only helps the halftime performer. Lol
Backup usaul dnt get drafted even if they play in the peach bowl. The kid at lsu didnt help himself either. Was all big 12 twice nothing at lsu.

@bruce4 I’ve heard they are going to tweak it some on the amount you can pay, only let the in the portal but once, but yes the NCAA caused the dumb asx move themselves. They own it, now fix it

Yea I’m not talking about the LSU transfer but since you bring it up I have no thought or knowledge on if that, moving to LSU, was a good move for him or not. For all we know he is happy just getting some cash and being close to family.

You evidently didn’t see the tackling by the defense as a whole. Muhammad at least had the most pass breakups. Good luck replacing that with a JUCO or high school kid.

I would rather have pics then break ups

One was going to the nfl if he stayed at osu. Itll be a toss up now.

Not sure about that, he was a pretty solid corner, this one hurts.

I feel like this is an NIL move. Doesn’t make a lot of sense other wise. This is why it’s so important we figure out how to pay our players competitively because we’ve basically turned into a farm team for the top 10 programs and the last two years kind of proves that.

This kid is a player! And he’s got a brother @Oak Cliff right now that’s gonna be a player too. I loved this kid.

I like him too. How many of the tall recievers is he locking down tho. This whole family is good. We had one of his cousin. But, he is gone we have guys behind him.

Look forward to the current Massachusetts Governor replacing Emmert. He is a good leader. I think their will be some positive changes in portal and NIL in the near future.

Dang another bit the dust. That guy from locked on Oklahoma State (Stovall?) claims a long with some of his other guests this isn’t a rebuild year but a reload year. I think he’s off his rocker about the guys we have leaving. Even if some of these players that are starter’s some of them are taking experience and depth with them. I’m definitely feeling defense might depth and experience might be taking a hit next season. I’m fretting about not even hitting 6-6 next season. I’m sitting here hoping between now and in January Gundy really hits the portal loosing up his feelings fully about it and getting the school to come up with some nice NIL packages. I think we need to modernize a little or get left behind. Time will tell in the next 2 seasons or sooner.

Domino effect. I think there’s internal turmoil going on I’ve heard from more than just the media. Apparently a chunk of players that transfered are really upset with the state of the offense. It does get tiring to have a good defense and not winning enough cause the offense can’t put enough points up to win low scoring games. I can see that mind set if that’s the case.

I can’t help but think that the ‘confusion’ that was apparent all season long in the Mason defensive scheme wasn’t frustrating and a contributing factor to his decision to portal… jmho. (Wish ‘you know’ Mason would hit the coaching portal! …you know…)
