I do too. OSU has no business scheduling the likes of Alabama. I always said why can’t we schedule Michigan St, Auburn, Wisconsin, Tennessee or Florida

Gundy made his career avoiding tough competition. I’m surprised we don’t avoid power 4 teams completely in non conference.
If we’re afraid of Alabama, then everyone needs to shut up about 2011 and not getting to play for a championship.

This is a bummer.
Interesting matchup. This seems like two teams from opposite sides of earth. Michigan State has a good long term tradition and good fan support at about ~70,000 per game. There are many B1G teams that don’t excite me but this is a good one.
I’d like to point out that the PFB headline implies that OSU was the one to drop the series. This is incorrect. It was Alabama that dropped it due to them going to a nine game conference schedule:
Funny how teams like Alabama and Ohio State try to play other Blueblood programs every year in non conference while after 2014 and Gundy’s little fit, we avoid Blueblood programs like the plague.
Someone tell me again how Gundy made us a top ten winning program.
