I’m going to give him the Gundy standard. He needs at least 4 wins total, and one of those being a conference win in year one. I’d find it hard to believe he’ll go winless in the conference considering his approach.
I don’t think we’ll go winless in conference, but 5-7 wouldn’t surprise me. Four wins wouldn’t give me a great deal of hope, but I wouldn’t overreact to someone trying to rebuild a program unless there were other troubling signs outside of the wins and losses to go with it.
Based on next year’s schedule and if the offense has a pulse. I think we can get to six wins. There’s not been any teams in the conference that have really stood out from one another recently besides Tech, BYU, and Utah. Two of those teams have shown they’re very vulnerable too. I mean….for goodness sakes we almost had two conference wins with the worst team we’ve had in 30+ years. I’d like to think Eric Morris will be better than that.
Six wins would be an encouraging start. More than that would be icing.
Yeah its more of a sound bite/sales pitch by Morris than an actual attempt at planning Bedlam. Its absolutely the right approach and another sign of how he gets it
Yea UU is doing a deal with the devil as far as I’m concerned. We will know how things turn out in 2-3 years as PE companies don’t wait all that long before extracting their pound of flesh.
Agree 100%

I’m thinking it’s more about what he has between the ears
The balls reference was more toward telling the Big 12 to shove it, we aren’t opting into this crap.
