Oklahoma State Hires Paul Randolph as New Defensive Line Coach

Originally published at: Oklahoma State Hires Paul Randolph as New Defensive Line Coach

Randolph has spent the past two seasons at Indiana.

So, the article didn’t elaborate… Was Richmond fired? Retired? Do we know? Randolph has moved around A LOT. I don’t know the significance of that,… just an observation.

I’m with ya…what about Richmond? He’s too young to retire.

His career changes seem nomadic, but most of the schools he’s been at have at least somewhat frequent Head Coach firings and that might be reflected in his journey.

Richmond is out.

A few guys I know within the OSU ath dept say this guy is a very, very personable, energetic personality. That usually plays well on the recruiting front.

And my “sources” are baseball guys who only spoke to him in passing. So it’s not any high level, well placed guy.

No elaboration on what happened to Richmond? Fired or took a new job so this is his replacement? Does anyone know or was that not released?

From what I read from pokes report nothing has been released yet but seems like he was fired and Gundy is waiting to release any details prob to help with his job search🤷‍♂️

Wow, Richmond’s done a nice job. If he was fired that’s crazy unless he did something on his personal life part that we don’t know about…

I could understand some silence due to professional courtesy of a decent coach and alum

This guy has a nice resume but as said the grass doesn’t seem to grow high under him

Maybe he’s just been looking for his forever home ?

Did you expect Gundy to make a slash hire of some sorts? Typical Gundy. Just musical chairs with mediocrity. If gundy was a pair of shoes he would be A pair of sketchers.
