Word!! People don’t want to hear it but barring the second coming it’s solid truth. It’s funny how so many of the folks here think that getting rid of Gundy is all we need to get to a natty when in fact the problems keeping most teams from winning a natty lie elsewhere.

Still remains to be seen imo. Both have not been an OC or DC for four years.
The issue is that literally nobody is talking about winning a natty. We’re still sitting around 14 years later wondering if Gundy will ever win the conference again with no OU or Texas as a factor.

Psychopath was. He said 2011 shouldn’t be our peak. We finished 3rd that year, so if that’s not our peak, homie is saying we should be playing for a nat. Pay attention to the convo before you come in mouthing off.

We have 4 star recruits in that are freshman or sophomore’s. They haven’t had a catch with Presley and other seniors graduating. Who knows if they can play, that’s one thing Dunn always kept us in was quality receivers

Our ceiling is a lot lower than that. Gundy’s been here 20 years and won the conference once. That makes 2011 a fluke. If OSU wants to win the conference they need a new coach but I’m not convinced that the administration isn’t content with mediocre. Obviously a lot of fans on here are very content with Gundy running the same boring crap out and making it to the Cheez it Bowls.

He was literally a yard away from doing it again missing our NFL running back.
No one currently in this conference has ever built a team like that 2011 team, so maybe there was some lightning in a bottle there, but I’m not trying to blow everything up when there’s disappointment.

So you choose one guy out of probably hundreds that thinks we should win a natty? I think we should win the conference more. Especially with no OU or Texas. Gundy isn’t a good enough coach to win a natty anyway.
He didn’t have quality plays. That’s for dam sure.
Gundy under a bridge with a shopping cart to his name with his hat turned upside down in his hand with his arm extend out is what I picture lol. For what? To be able to pay his assistant coaches. How good have they been? It’s been a loosing method. Just like I said years ago he is going to get worse not better. Just like all good players and coaches with pride they always out welcome their stay.

I wasn’t the one that implied one guy’s comment speaks for many OSU fans. Just like I wouldn’t say you or Michael13 think we’re going to win a natty. Because you’ve both made it clear 7-6 is good enough. It’s not me being delusional. It’s knowing where people on this forum stand when it comes to how good OSU should or shouldn’t be .
