The Cowboys offered Young late last month.
Recruiting in the 60’s and 14th in the conference tells you everything about the near future. We know Gundy can’t go find a qb in the portal (Alan Bowman) and Rangel having the only starting experience while not playing a full game since 2022 doesn’t exude confidence.
No other offers? We’ve gone from battling Air Force for recruits to battling just air. Seems not good.
And it’s not a knock on the player, he’s done nothing wrong and I really hope he shows out, but it just feels like we don’t swing for the fences in any aspect of our program anymore.
Also instead of 14th let’s just say LAST in the conference…. Again, seems not good.
I do thin its interesting to go look a the current depth chart and see just how many Srs and Jr’s are listed. Listen, Gundy has a history of turning low expectations into Chicken Salad. But man it sure looks like there is a potential storm brewing in Stillwater.
“ Young makes 15 pledges in a class that ranks 63rd nationally and 14th in the Big 12,”
Now, combine that with awful coaching, and then try to convince me OSU is the future of the Big 12. I’ll be waiting.
