Sounds like the kids are excited from the new energy and direction the new coaches are bringing. After hearing this I’m still scratching my head wondering what the negative dynamics were last year that brought the program to it’s knees.

The NIL $. that was our downfall. We didn’t have that stuff lined out well. ( IMO. )
Our stars were good with that $, till they werent.
The only other way I’ve seen a locker room bail on coach, was with Sanders like it did when NIL was starting.
I can’t imagine there isn’t a cowboys fan who didn’t know Gundy was gonna resist the tides.
All a guess on my end. You don’t go from winning a rushing award the year prior, then just lose your talent. Ollie.
what does happen is someone getting into your ear saying talent is worth more and not to use your talent until you are paid equitably for said talent.
I believe that is what occurred.

Ollie sucks man. Dude can’t control his emotions or do long division. He just isn’t that good. No conspiracies. A runningback not trying doesn’t lead to getting stuffed at the LOS for no gain ad nauseum. Have you ever played football?

In other words, our previous QB’s coach (Tim Rattay) was just sitting around collecting a paycheck.

Well….when you return 19 starters from a 10 win team from the previous year. I would go as far as to say it’s mainly the coaching, and the inability of being able to score first half touchdowns, play only a decent half of football (sometimes), and waiting until your 3-3 to find a way to possibly move the ball on the ground 
. It’s not like OG was a secret after last season. The previous coaching staff was way too predictable.
In 2023 we played musical chairs with our QB roster and barely gave OG the ball in the first three games of the season. We lost a couple of games we really had no business losing. In 2024 the coaching staff made the infamous statement “We’ll do what we always do” as if the other college coaches weren’t game planning to stop that specific strength of the team .
No more D2 hires, no more fake OCs, no more first halves without a touchdown, and no more adjusting until the sixth or seventh game of the season. You can’t continue to do stuff like that and expect to win your conference.
