Gundy can’t afford to NOT handle things internally.
At least it wasn’t a Henry Ruggs type of incident.
OSU has always handled things internally as well, only suspensions are recognized, but we don’t see much behind closed doors.

Being ineligible for Captain status
Curfew checks?
What else….?
I wouldn’t think so, either, but I’d be good if that’s what Gundy decided.
Keep in mind, Gundy has been talking to Gordon directly and indirectly about his mindset and “staying humble.” Doesn’t feel like it’s having an impact.
This didn’t take any lives. It CAN. But so can speeding or getting into a fight. Why would you punish someone for what COULD happen rather than what actually did happen?

Agree and Ollie has done so many great things off the field too (including staying loyal and true). He seems like a kid that will learn and use thi s mistake as a positive.

He’s not getting kicked off the team. Trey Rucker has had 2 DUIs while at OSU and he had a 100 tackles last year.
Dude just needs a price of humble pie. He got to cocky when things were going his way but acted a fool when they didn’t. Jury’s still out on his character. Hope he doesn’t show me like I think he is.
