So another back up from a 5-7 P4 team? Are we ever going to get serious about trying to win the conference?

Yawn, big deal, we signed a backup from a bad team

“Havili-Kaufusi spent the last six seasons at UCLA…”

Still not used to reading stuff like this.

Back ups and part time starters uh? Gundy is on the nose dive to retirement. He IS the worst recruiter as a top payed head coach to ever exist. Thats what he will be known for. The guy is an embarrassment to this school.

How are you going to spend six seasons at an average to below average program and not crack the starting lineup?

At least he’s from a P4 school. UCLA’s coaching is pretty mediocre, so the fact he was a backup could have to do with a lot of factors beyond talent. I mean how many of Gundy’s backups (particularly at QB) do we find are actually (way) better than the chosen starter?

You mean how Jaylen Warren started third on the depth chart, and ended up being one of the better running backs in the conference?
